IN your Chrome new window and resize the window to match your screen space. Turns out you can use Google Tasks in a simplified Desktop version too. Run it and resize the window to match your desired dimensions. Then name the shortcut anything you like on the next screen and voila! You have a personal quick access to your Google Tasks on your desktop. “C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” –app= The location of the item copy-paste this line: Right click on Desktop, select New -> Shortcut To create a Google Tasks shortcut icon, go like this: Create a new Shortcut on Windows Desktop The easiest way to access all your tasks in the morning you sit at your computer is to create a shortcut icon on your Desktop. Also it is nicely integrated with Gmail so I can easily create a new task from every e-mail. I really love the simple interface and “old feel” about it. It was totally unknown for me until I realised, I was using Windows Notes to mark my tasks on my desktop and deleted each line when task was finished. Google has a nice feature in addition to Gmail and Google Calendar – Google Tasks.
